About Us

The 4 Corners Rocketry Association has been flying in the Farmington area since 2014. It was created by some individuals with a vision for High Power Rocketry and education and growth!

The previous leaders of the club did a great job over the years but found it time to step down and nominated (appointed, drafted, designated, voluntold...) Kevin Small to be the new Tripoli Prefect / NAR Section.

Since their wedding vows stated "for better or for worse", the appointment automatically included Tracy Small as Treasurer and Social Director...

It is our goal to once again provide regular high power launches in the 4 Corners area and enjoy the commaradery
with other rocketeers. We have been involved in rocketry for over 25 years starting with our five year old son Wesley.
Most of the time was with the Albuquerque Rocket Society until we were relocated with Intel to Gilbert Arizona in 2016
where we became involved with the Phoenix area TRAPHX club. The TRAPHX club was where we first started
turning launches into RV camping trips with a number of other rocketeers and developed many more good friends
in the rocketry community!

It is our desire to engage other four corner rocketry enthusiasts as well as enable students in the area to have access
to low/mid/high power rocketry training and having a place to safely fly.

We will obviously keep safety and fire concerns in mind. We cannot afford to lose such a nice launch site and FAA waiver due to negligence. If we are ever restrictive, it is only planning for the future.
